Advancing Human Innovation through Technology

The Adaptive Edge Institute at Illinois State University provides educational programming and services to help individuals and organizations meet the moment in a rapidly evolving technological landscape — to give them an adaptive edge in a world where artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and other advanced technologies are reshaping daily life and entire industries. We harness Illinois State’s core values and strengths — evidence-informed teaching, inclusion, and innovation — to advocate for practices that embrace technology while also keeping humans and the qualities only we can bring to bear at the center of everything we do.
